From a tailoring academy in Romania to Bayshore Drive.
The craft has passed from one generation to the next, by hand, for over fifty years.
Anton Novak enters a three-year Professional Tailoring Academy in Romania, graduating by designing and constructing a custom suit — then takes a position with a German maker of jackets, trousers and sport coats, where he meets Marta, a seamstress at the same company. They marry.
Anton and Marta emigrate to Florida — Anton as Master Tailor for Ervin Berlin Men's Shop in Hollywood, Marta as seamstress at Bernini Men's Shop in Plantation.
They open their first shop in Fort Lauderdale — later opening a second in Naples after vacationing there and falling for the town.
Their son Stefan joins the business and trains under his parents for three years.
Stefan takes over the Fort Lauderdale shop.
Stefan moves to Naples as a Master Tailor — the name clients now ask for by name.
